Talon allows you to request information from the Law Enforcement Information Network and TalonPoints. When a request is made, both the request and response are displayed within the Talon main window.
Talon Views
There are five different ways to view messages in Talon:
Activity Window displays every inquiry and response within a single window.
Message List displays a history of messages for the current user, and allows you to select a specific item to view the details.
Manage Messages displays each query and associated responses in folders. Each folder displays the responses to the selected query. This is the default view of Talon Desktop.
Case displays the responses to the selected query into subfolders based on type of response.
Local Logs displays a history of messages for all users who have run Talon on that specific computer.
To toggle between the different views, select the desired option from the View menu. A check box next to the view name indicates that you are using that view.
